Buffalo Blue
There was something unforgettable about seeing buffalo up close in Alberta for the first time. Not in a picture or from far away, but while riding my horse and suddenly finding them along the fence line, feeling their strength, calm energy, and the weight of their presence as they moved across the land.
It felt like stepping into the living history of the Prairies. These animals shaped Western Canada long before ranching culture, and seeing them near my home showed me why they remain part of the spirit of the West.
